Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil, dehydrated truffle pieces 0.5% (equivalent to 1% fresh product) and Tuber melanosporum aroma.
Origin & production
Black truffle (Tuber melanosporum), known as the Périgord truffle, is harvested in winter with dogs trained for their keen sense of smell. Its fragrant, earthy profile makes it an exceptional seasoning. Finca Hostalets’ base oil provides a silky texture and balance, preserving and carrying the truffle’s character with great definition.
Tasting note
Clean black-truffle aromas: earthy notes, bitter cocoa, mushrooms, toasted hazelnut and a light balsamic backdrop. On the palate it is enveloping and long, with an umami finish and no astringency.
